What To Expect

We use several modalities that work to stimulate the body’s natural healing potential by treating a person’s root causes and not ignoring the signs and symptoms related to a particular disharmony in the body.  The 3 most important areas we will work on are: 1) a food plan, 2) lifestyle changes, and 3) nutritional deficiencies.

By balancing your health through high-level Foundational Nutrition and  Botanical Medicine, you receive health benefits, the body begins to reach homeostasis, the body systems become balanced, life becomes easier and healing happens faster with relatively few side effects.

“Illness develops slowly and insidiously. Often, symptoms only occur in the last stages of diabetes, cancer or heart disease, for example.  This is because the body compensates and adapts as it becomes ill.  Most symptoms only occur when the body can no longer continue to adapt to its nutritional imbalances, fatigue, and growing toxicity, for example.”

We help clients to move from a symptom-suppression model to a wellness model by offering multifaceted interventions that are adapted to the specific needs of each client.  Because of this, we ask our clients to work with us for one year minimum.

To make sure the experience goes well at the first appointment, clients prepare by:

For Clinical/Functional Nutrition sessions:

  • Fill out the Functional Nutrition paperwork
  • Send your paperwork via email to info@tnmtx.com.  I will review your information and prioritize your initial consultation. I may request that you complete additional information or forms before I agree to take you as a client.
  • Bring in ALL of your current supplements, vitamins, prescriptions, and/or over-the-counter medications to your initial appointment.
  • Bring a copy of ANY comprehensive blood tests, urine tests, and/or hair tissue analysis tests.
  • Do not brush your tongue the day of the appointment.  The ‘raw data’ (color, coating, teeth indentations, red tip, etc) will provide important information about your body and health.
  • Wear loose clothing that will go above your knee and elbow comfortably for the Page Body Measurements.
  • We will review your health care goals by designing a strategy for 1) a food plan, 2) lifestyle changes, and 3) addressing nutritional deficiencies.
  • Bring your calendar.  We will meet on a regular basis to ensure success of your goals.

We look at the function of the whole body vs the pathology of the different body parts.

Why we do what we do:

Degenerative cells in the body are due to the chemistry of the body.  Correcting the body chemistry is true prevention.  When the chemistry is good, your health is good.  The ability of one’s body to heal itself and fight against degeneration depends upon the efficiency of the body chemistry.

Let’s begin the journey!
